Education

Law Degree (1997) and PhD. (2000) at University of Navarra – Doctoral Thesis: 'Corporate income taxation filing consolidated return'. He completed his training as Visiting Research in the United States (NYU 1999); and with the Programs of “Managing Development” (PDD 2002) and “Corporate Finances” (2007) at University of Navarra - IESE Business School, Madrid.

Experience

He began his professional career as Assistant Research Professor of Tax Law, at the University of Navarra, where at present he still lectures in the Master Degree on Tax Advisory; there, he also worked as attaché to the University’s General Manager during 3 years, in charge of legal and taxing organization, as well as projects funding. Afterwards (2004) he incorporated his own law firm in Pamplona, which he promoted by reaching collaboration deals with other Spanish and foreign law firms, until he joined SPYN Advisors as partner of the Tax Area.

He has specialized in the areas of planning and legal & taxing implementation of business corporate structures, family inheritances and non-profit entities, as well as their re-structure, both in their national (including all Spanish regions) and international dimensions. Among those areas, and concerning all types of taxes, he has conducted the legal advice of appeals at all instances.

He is often a speaker in Conferences and has published several articles on legal-taxing and other aspects corresponding to his professional specializations. He is also a consultant, member, counselor and manager of several companies of legal advice, investment and activities in different economic sectors.
