He obtained a dual Law degree from the University of Navarra and Université de Paris XII in 1993. He completed a Masters program in Legal Practice at the University of Navarra that same year. In 1995 he did graduate studies in European Union Law at Université Libre de Bruxelles.


As an academic, he has been involved in Legal practice at the University of Suffolk, Law School of Boston; he is an honorary partner at the Centre for International Legal Studies of Salzburg and Visiting Professor at the International University of Catalonia and the European University of Madrid.

He is mainly dedicated to acquisitions and restructuring of corporations, corporate law and mercantile procurement as well as foreign investment and trade regulation.His work is centered on technology, logistics, pharmaceuticals, trade in services, and the industry of entertainment and culture.
